Bill Furlong, MBA, ICD.D
Bill Furlong joined Echelon’s Board of Directors on April 23, 2020. Bill is Chair of the Investment Committee and a Member of the Governance and Nominating Committee. Bill is a senior financial services Executive and Regulator with over 25 years of experience and leadership in Canadian and International Capital Markets. He is currently an Executive-in-Residence at the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership at Ivey Business School and is a member of the Institute’s Leadership Council. He is also a member of OSFI’s Culture and Conduct Risk Division External Advisory Committee (CEAC). Prior to taking on this challenge, Bill held various global, senior leadership roles as a Vice-Chair at TD Securities, was later a Commissioner at the Ontario Securities Commission.
Deeply committed to his community, Bill serves as the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Eva’s Initiatives, an award-winning charity operating in Toronto that provides services to homeless and at-risk youth. He also continues to write, present, and lecture on Leader Character to students and business leaders across North America and the U.K.View all team members
