Echelon’s Condominium Insurance provides protection for your condo unit. Different from a homeowner insurance policy, a condominium insurance policy is designed specifically for condos and provides you with coverage for what’s in your condo unit.
As a condominium owner, you are responsible for what’s inside your unit. Your condominium association will provide coverage for the property, common areas and the physical building (structure). It will not provide coverage for your personal contents, your legal responsibility to others and improvements/betterments you have made to your unit.
When looking for a condominium insurance policy, speak to a licensed insurance broker about coverage for your personal belongings, ceiling coverings, liability coverage, coverage for storage or locker units, fixtures and structural parts of the unit that you own.
Echelon’s Condominium Insurance policy is offered in British Columbia.
